Science Building Addition

UW-Baraboo is a two year campus located in Sauk County. UW-Baraboo is one of the fifteen institutions in the University of Wisconsin System. UW-Baraboo’s mission is to provide a high-quality liberal arts education and to advance the Wisconsin Idea by bringing the resources of the University to all residents of the service area. The campus currently serves approximately 600 students. Rettler Corporation was retained as civil engineer/landscape architect to provide site design services for a major building addition on the UW Baraboo Campus.

The master plan included design for an outdoor classroom space, rooftop venue for special events, and a green roof. There was over a 30ft. grade change which gave Rettler the opportunity to design multilevel plazas and seat walls. Rettler performed all site utility, storm water management, site grading and site plaza planning and design services. Project size is 1.75 acres.
